I’m a senior in Communications at Thomas Edison State University, and I’m passionate about writing and helping people find hope and joy despite life’s many obstacles. Alongside being a student, I currently work as a personal care attendant for my special needs brother, manage the creative media for my church, and run a personal blog. When I’m not studying or working, you’ll find me traveling to visit my friends in many pockets of the US, drinking coffee, reading good books, or marathoning Gilmore Girls. |

I joined the TECC Team in September as an AmeriCorps VISTA, coordinating provider learning development, volunteer team structural organization, and growth of the Epilepsy Voices podcast. My interest in health policy research and reform has led me to interning on Capitol Hill, working on congressional campaigns, and now working with TECC and Epilepsy Voices to amplify the voices of underserved and marginalized communities. I am excited to partner with the Epilepsy Voices team to develop a platform for people to speak about their experiences with epilepsy and for others to learn more about this and find community within it. |

I am currently a graduate student studying Library Science and Children's Literature at Simmons University. When not juggling school, library jobs, and babysitting, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, skiing, and watching mysteries. I always want to know more about neurology and hear other people's stories of epilepsy. I was excited to learn about Epilepsy Voices in August 2019 and have learned a lot since! |
